Americans! This is your site! Take back control as it was meant to be by the founding fathers. Learn from each other just how to get the job done through the use of the Constitution as it was intended to be! Post you own insights and links to historical references so that we can all learn to vote independently for those who will truly represent our interests and not their own! We believe in the principal that no-one should serve more than two terms in any elected office no matter how good they may be or how close our friendship! Serve and then return to you real career!

For those of you who just clicked the link in the eMail, thank you for visiting. I hope you set up for a feed and follow my musings through the months ahead. I am also looking forward to a lot of input from you with the ambitious project I have selected for myself this year. I will welcome you recommendations for links to other pertinent sites and some help with details I will need for my research. I will not be trying to start a new party, but I will be encouraging you to consider registering as Independents so that you will not feel a party loyalty tug when you pull the lever in the voting booth. There will probably be different rules for egistering as an Independent in virtually every county in a
America, so help with whatever you can! I have enjyed a marvelous life here in he USA over these last 74 years and now would like to do whatever I can to help today’s young people be able to enjoy a similar life.

Thanks for helping!

Look what Harry Reid Hid deep in the Health Care Bill

FROM J. Nelson (via email/2/28/2010) – THIS IS TRULY SHOCKING!!!! PRAY THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO PROTECT US AND GIVE WISDOM AND INSIGHT AND PROTECT US FROM TYRANNY! ∴ Buried in his massive amendment to the Senate version of Obamacare is Reid’s anti-democratic poison pill designed to prevent any future Congress from repealing the central feature of this monstrous legislation! ∴ Beginning on page 1,000 of the measure, Section 3403 reads in part: ” it shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.” ∴ In other words, if President Barack Obama signs this measure into law, no future Senate or House will be able to change a single word of Section 3403, regardless whether future Americans or their representatives in Congress wish otherwise!

Note that the subsection at issue here concerns the regulatory power of the Independent Medicare Advisory Board (IMAB) to “reduce the per capita rate of growth in Medicare spending.” That is precisely the kind of open-ended grant of regulatory power that effectively establishes the IMAB as the ultimate arbiter of the cost, quality and quantity of health care to be made available to the American people. And Reid wants the decisions of this group of unelected federal bureaucrats to be untouchable for all time.

No wonder the majority leader tossed aside assurances that senators and the public would have at least 72 hours to study the text of the final Senate version of Obamacare before the critical vote on cloture. And no wonder Reid was so desperate to rush his amendment through the Senate, even scheduling the key tally on it at 1 a.m., while America slept.

True to form, Reid wanted to keep his Section 3403 poison pill secret for as long as possible, just as he negotiated his bribes for the votes of Senators Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Ben Nelson of Nebraska and Bernie Sanders of Vermont behind closed doors.

The final Orwellian touch in this subversion of democratic procedure is found in the ruling of the Reid-controlled Senate Parliamentarian that the anti-repeal provision is not a change in Senate rules, but rather of Senate “procedures.” Why is that significant? Because for 200 years, changes in the Senate’s standing rules have required approval by two-thirds of those voting, or 67 votes rather than the 60 Reid’s amendment received.

Reid has flouted two centuries of standing Senate rules to pass a measure in the dead of night that no senator has read, and part of which can never be changed. If this is not tyranny, then what is?

DON’T SIT BY AND LET THIS HAPPEN IN THE DARK!!! FORWARD TO EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST!

Well the “Health Care (Obamacare)” has been manipulated into law and it is time for real concern. You might want to order the new book being released soon from Dick Morris, 2010: Take Back America. It is a battle plan for us to follow in the months ahead. It would also be a good idea to follow Glenn Beck as he trys in a factual manner to define the problems facing our Republic and our FREEDOM. He also outlines plans on how to take back our country from the Progessives who would fundamentaly change it and destroy our consitution for a system more alighned with France and we know how innovative and productive that country is. Read the book “A Patriot’s History of the United States: From Columbus’s Great Discovery to the War on Terror”. If you can’t wait for it at the library, you can order it here from Amazon. It will help you understand the history of how we have survived through well meaning, but sometimes mis-guided political reforms.

Thanks,

By Bobby Jindal, a Republican, the governor of Louisiana.

The arguments against repeal are the following:
1) It’s next to impossible. Nothing of this magnitude has ever been repealed.
2) Even if Republicans take control of Congress this fall, the president would veto repeal.
3) It will be hard to take things away from people once the government starts giving them out.
4) There are parts of the bill that the public will like.
5) We don’t want to be labeled the party of “no.”
Let’s take them one at a time.
1) It’s impossible. Wrong. There is a first time for everything. It’s similarly “impossible” for the son of Indian immigrants to get elected in the deep South. It’s impossible for an African-American to get elected president. You get the picture.
2) President Obama would veto a repeal bill. Yes, he sure would. Do it anyway. And do it again after he is gone. (By the way. President Clinton vetoed welfare reform-twice before he signed it into law.)
3) It will be hard to take things away. Probably so. But the reality is that growth of federal entitlements is strangling the economic engine of our country. Someone has to draw the line somewhere. Going in the other direction immediately.
4) There are parts of the bill the public will like. No doubt about it. There are parts I like—though I have yet to read the fine print—such as allowing parents to keep kids on their policies until they are 26-years-old. And there’s bound to be more good policy in there: 2,409 pages can’t be all bad. But the overall direction of the bill is to empower government, not patients.
5) We don’t want to be labeled the party of “no.” As it pertains to this bill, how about “hell no”? Newt Gingrich is saying we should “repeal and replace.” That works.

Makes sense to me. Let me know what you all think!

Today a friend forwarded this eMail:

Serious considerations …….. excessive debt is a serious threat to our freedoms!

Lloyd Hanahan

From the same CBO that scored the 1966 Medicare bill to never cost Fed Gov more then $12 Bil. annually. FYI; the 2008 Medicare tab was $599 Bil in 2008 (20% of Fed spending). Still believe Obamacare to be revenue neutral?

CBO report: Debt will rise to 90% of GDP

By David M. Dickson

President Obama’s fiscal 2011 budget will generate nearly $10 trillion in cumulative budget deficits over the next 10 years, $1.2 trillion more than the administration projected, and raise the federal debt to 90 percent of the nation’s economic output by 2020, the Congressional Budget Office reported Thursday.

In its 2011 budget, which the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released Feb. 1, the administration projected a 10-year deficit total of $8.53 trillion. After looking it over, CBO said in its final analysis, released Thursday, that the president’s budget would generate a combined $9.75 trillion in deficits over the next decade.

“An additional $1.2 trillion in debt dumped on [GDP] to our children makes a huge difference,” said Brian Riedl, a budget analyst at the conservative Heritage Foundation. “That represents an additional debt of $10,000 per household above and beyond the federal debt they are already carrying.”

The federal public debt, which was $6.3 trillion ($56,000 per household) when Mr. Obama entered office amid an economic crisis, totals $8.2 trillion ($72,000 per household) today, and it’s headed toward $20.3 trillion (more than $170,000 per household) in 2020, according to CBO’s deficit estimates.

That figure would equal 90 percent of the estimated gross domestic product in 2020, up from 40 percent at the end of fiscal 2008. By comparison, America’s debt-to-GDP ratio peaked at 109 percent at the end of World War II, while the ratio for economically troubled Greece hit 115 percent last year.

PS – Not bad to know that in the year that WWII ended we spent 109% of GDP….
